WDM takes the government to court

We are going to the High Court on Tuesday 19 October with an unprecedented
legal challenge against the Treasury.

We believe public money should be spent in the public interest, and that the Treasury is acting unlawfully by failing to adequately assess the risks posed by RBS’s lending to projects and companies linked to climate change and human rights abuses.

A High Court judge will decide if we have an arguable case to proceed to a full judicial review.

For more information as it happens, please check out the WDM website, and for updates during the day follow us on twitter.
